GamerSafer Inc. (“we” or “us”) handles with respect and care any personal information we obtain from our users, collaborators, partners and customers. The following GamerSafer Privacy Policy (the “Policy” or the “Privacy Policy”) is designed to answer your questions regarding how we collect, protect, use and share information obtained through the GamerSafer website, www.gamersafer.com (the “Site”) and GamerSafer application (the “App”) available to download in app stores.

We encourage you to read this Policy before using the Services, and not to use the Services if you disagree with any part of this Policy. By using the Services or by clicking a box that states that you accept or agree to this Policy, you signify your agreement to the terms and conditions of this Policy.

I. INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT

Through our app, our website and through partners apps and websites you have access to our services that may include but not limited to the latest relevant content curated by our team regarding online gaming and safety. You may also have access to the latest news about our product development, it’s availability and have the opportunity to help us shape better products and services designed to you by providing feedback, creating reviews and participating in polls and surveys.

A. Personal and General Information

In this Policy, when we use the term “Personal Information”, we mean any information that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual, such as the individual’s name and email address. 

Also, in this Policy, when we use the term “General Information”, we mean any information that cannot be used to identify or contact a specific user, such as the individual’s username, password or birthdate.

Users of our platform (GamerSafer app, website as well as any 3rd party partner app or website connected to GamerSafer services) register and opt-in to receive GamerSafer services by completing the user subscription process (child members under 13 cannot opt-in for this service). We also may collect Personal and General Information through surveys or questionnaires. Your participation in surveys and questionnaires is entirely voluntary.

If you decide that you no longer want to be a user, you can delete your account at any time. To delete your account, simply login into your account through our app and follow the instruction inside your Account information, or request it through our site http://www.gamersafer.com/contact. Once you delete your account, all of your Personal and General Information stored in your account and Profile on our service will be removed.

It is possible that Personal Information and other data that you furnished through the Services or received by an authorized partner may remain in our system (including but not limited to backups of the Services’ data, player reports, player listing on ban or block lists), even if you are no longer a Member, and can be used by us in accordance with this Policy. 

B. Data we collect provided by you

Data you provide us to create your account, such as contact information (First and Last name and email address), Username and password, Profile picture, birth date, country and in some cases state (required only for USA and Canada residents).

Data you provide us to enrich your profile information, such as play style, usage patterns, interaction and streaming preferences.

Data related to other services connected with your GamerSafer account (3rd party partners, games and or linked accounts)

Data you provide us to login in our services, such as username, password and login picture. Using computer vision and face recognition techniques, we can estimate additional general information about the user (gender, age, emotions, physical characteristics).

C. Data we collect automatically

Data about your login records (logs), your IP address and mobile device identifiers (such as your device ID, advertising ID, MAC address, IMEI) and data about your device, such as device name and operating system, browser type and language.

II. HOW WE USE INFORMATION COLLECTED ON THE APP

A. How We Use Personal and General Information

We use Personal Information to generate user specific safety protocols helping gaming platforms to design safer online gaming experiences for our users. We may also use Personal Information to personalize your experience on the Services by presenting content and market opportunities and products tailored to you and to allow you to participate in sweepstakes, contests and similar promotions and to administer these activities.

III. HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION COLLECTED ON THE SERVICES

We will not sell or rent any Personal Information about you. We will not share any Personal Information without your prior explicit consent, any instance where data sharing is required you will be prompted to consent. The only acceptable exception is to comply with Law Enforcement; Emergencies; Compliance stated below.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this Policy to the contrary, we reserve the right to use your Personal Information, and to disclose it to others, as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under a requirement of applicable law, (b) to comply with legal process, (c) to respond to governmental requests, (d) to enforce our Terms of Service, (e) to protect our operations, (f) for assistance in fraud detection and prevention; (g) to protect the rights, privacy, safety or property of GamerSafer, you or others, (h) to permit us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain, and (i) in connection with a disposition of all or a substantial portion of our business, assets or stock, such as the sale of the Site or Services, a merger, consolidation, reorganization, joint venture, assignment, or bankruptcy or similar proceedings.

IV. ACCESS TO YOUR DATA

You have the right to access personal and general data we hold about you. In our App there are specific fields and menus with this information, and we will provide you a copy in an electronic format if requested. You also have the right to correct your data, have your data deleted, object how we use or share your data, and restrict how we use or share your data.

V. IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES, PRACTICES AND CONTACT INFORMATION

Links. This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information or other practices of any third party, including any third party operating any site or service to which the Services link. The inclusion of a link on the Services does not imply our endorsement of the linked site or service. In addition, we are not responsible for the information collection, use, disclosure or security policies and practices of other organizations, such as Facebook, Apple, Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA, Microsoft, or any other app developer, app provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider or device manufacturer.

Security. We seek to use reasonable administrative, organizational, technical, and physical measures to help protect the Personal Information you provide to us. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, you should immediately notify us in accordance with the section below entitled “Contacting Us.” 

Changes to the Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to change this Policy, and any changes to our Policy will become effective upon our posting of the revised Policy on the Site. Use of the Services following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy then in effect. If we make changes to this Policy we will take reasonable steps to alert users of the Services that the Policy has been updated.
